Nicky, Sasquatch, and Pink Elephants

Not everything that happens in a war zone is gruesome. Vietnam provided an opportunity for American youth to meet, often face-to-face, exotic animals, from leeches to Cobras and Bengal Tigers. The Nam also resulted in funny/odd/humorous events in the bush and back at base camp. These stories reflect some of the odd/weird/humorous events and encounters by members of Third Reconnaissance Battalion, Third Marine Division along the DMZ.
