The Boys of Chattanooga

The Boys of Chattanooga is a historical novel concerning the Battle for Chattanooga that was waged for three days in November of 1863. It was during the last day of this battle that the largest and most miraculous charge of the American Civil War was made.

Clyde Hedges was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana. After graduating from Central High School, Clyde joined the army. While stationed at Fort Devens, Massachusetts, Clyde met his wife Marion. After mustering out of the service, Clyde attended Fitchburg State Teachers College. Clyde and Marion taught in Las Vegas, Nevada for 23 years. They now reside in Reno, Nevada near their daughter Kelly, son-in-law John, and their grandson Carrick. (Need I add that he is the apple of their eyes?)
