I am a hood novelist. I grew up in the streets of Philadelphia, the oldest of seven. I’ve lived enough life for two people. I’ve seen and experienced a lot in my lifetime. At the age of sixteen I moved to New Jersey where I graduated from Edgewood Senior High School and then went on to attend Stockton state College. It was at that point where my life began fast forwarding. Ten years after enrolling in College I was halfway through an eleven year sentence. I chose to educate myself while incarcerated. I was a teachers aide for a G.E.D. class for two years. I was a head cook for four years, and by the time I was released I had two novels written. Although I had a passion for writing i was inexperienced on what steps to make to becoming a successful author. I opened up my own taxi business for a while. I’ve worked construction for a while, and all these different endeavors brought me back to my passion and that is writing. I am the author of the novel Too Late For Crying, a convicts cry. I am the father of five beautiful kids, and I plan on continuing writing with a purpose of educating our youth by showing them the hood and how you can escape the dangers and negativity. My books are straight hood with an overall positive meaning of how to overcome.
