Florence Osmund grew up in an old Victorian home in Illinois, complete with a coach house-the same house she used as inspiration for her first two books. Following a satisfying career working in large corporations, she retired to write novels. ＂I garner inspiration for my books by observing and listening to ordinary people,＂ she says. ＂Then I let my imagination dig deeper until a higher concept is reached.＂ Osmund currently resides on a small lake in northern Illinois where she continues to write novels.
