Cynthias Story: Her Words of Fear, Strength and Courage

Cynthia's Story - A story about a girl in her Senior Year of high school, who is diagnosed with Friedreich's Ataxia and finds out firsthand what it is like to be popular and active, then becoming depressed and unpopular.

Jamie Lynn Cusick is a thirty-three year old woman living with Friedreich’s Ataxia, a life threatening neuro-muscular disease. She has faced the same obstacles that ＂Cynthia＂ faces. Jamie continues to live in Maryland with her parents. She is continuing her college studies and continues to write.
