Educated at Tyler School of Art and Yale Graduate School for Fine Arts, Nina Kaplan has created and ran many successful home design and fashion stores, the latest of which is BLC, a multimedia concept store in Newtown, Pennsylvania. The Madison K. series is inspired by Kaplan’s more than twenty years of experience in the fashion and beauty industries and in raising her own twenty-year-old daughter, Madison. These experiences are universal to women and girls of all ages as every mother and daughter can relate in some way.
