Two years ago, Sara's husband left for the gym one morning...and never came back.

Now, on the last day before summer break, her three children have gone missing from their schools, all at the same time.

Ernie Lindsey grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of southwest Virginia, herding cattle and chopping firewood, and has spent his life telling stories to anyone that will listen. He currently works as a freelance writer, and is the author of two novels and numerous short stories. Ernie and his wife Sarah live in central Oregon and their first child is due in December 2012, a few days before the Mayan Apocalypse. They intend for their baby to save the world.
