Percy’s first book was published in hard back in the early eighties, since then he has gone on to write eight more full length novels, including his autobiography detailing as a child the horrors and the terror of being bombed in East London during the Second World War, the title ’Blitz & Pieces’ which was voted best in its class at the Summer 2013 Pinnacle Awards. At the same awards, and for the first time it had been accomplished, he also won best Thriller with ’Politically Incorrect’ - this was the first time in 29 years one author has won two awards in one session. Percy retired from his architectural practice in Bristol and moved to Spain with his wife Jean in the year 2000, where, besides writing at least three hours every morning they run a holiday home - for visitors to the real Spain in the mountains of the Costa Blanca, where readers of his work are always welcome. Percy is now starting on another novel set in the early fifties which should be available in the spring of 2014. percy@fuentelargo.com www.percychatteybooks.com
