Celestia Whitehead is an artist, poet and writer who grew up on a homestead in Alaska, delighting in the beauties of nature, which she puts into all of her creative works. She taught Art and English in public school and has a special love for middle school students. She has published a novel, poetry and humorous articles; has sold her paintings and won awards, but her greatest achievement, she contends, is her 12 excellent children and more grandchildren than she can keep track of.
