Time of Death

Ellis Vidler’s novels are suspense stories with varying degrees of romance. Her books contain mild adult language and situations. The McGuire women books are about a family with a psychic streak. Her short stories are Southern fiction. Ellis lives in the green and beautiful South Carolina Piedmont with her husband, a sweet but not-too-bright shelter dog, and assorted creatures who wander by for a meal. She’s always been a sucker for fur and feathers. From early childhood she’s told stories (not quite how her mother put it) and collected strays. She imagined herself as everyone from Little Red Riding Hood to Robin Hood and shared their adventures through long hours of reading beneath the covers by flashlight.
