Dr. Deborah Faye Beasley was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She is the past President of the Chicago Chapter of the Association of Black Psychologists and a former educator and professional high school guidance counselor with the Chicago Public Schools. Dr. Beasley has worked in private practice for over 20 years and is now an Educational Consultant and a therapist in Chicago. Further, she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Dr. Beasley is a member of Apostolic Faith Church in Chicago (affectionately known as 38th Street), where the former Prelate Bishop Horace E. Smith, M.D. is her pastor. For over 50-years Dr. Beasley has worshipped and served in the capacity of Sunday School Teacher, a Choir member, Hospitality ministry and is currently a member of the Health Professions ministry. Dr. Beasley is also President of the Illinois District Council Health Professions Ministry and Secretary of the International Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. Dr. Beasley enjoys domestic and international travel.
