Karen Rempel Arthur has authored numerous short stories for adults and children. She has been a newspaper columnist, co-authored a historical book on the Township of Wainfleet, where seemingly nothing ever happened, but yes, it actually did, and writes the Flora BeGora mystery series. Her most recent book, a biography titled "The Tenacious Spy: The Story of William Morris Jones", has been very popularly received. Progressing from writing in the garden shed at the age of 10, she now writes indoors--in the basement. Karen is a graduate of the Institute of Children’s Literature.
