Corazon Sandoval Foley is a Filipino American whose family has been residents of Burke in Fairfax County, Virginia. She has been the Founding Chairman of the Fairfax County Asian American History Project (FCAAHP) and the Burke/West Springfield Senior Center Without Walls (BWSSCWoW). Her community contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including Lady Fairfax 2009 and the Merit of Citation in the Citizen of the Year Awards in 2012 for Fairfax County citizens. She retired in 2007 after a career of some 30 years as a diplomat and economic/intelligence analyst for the U.S. Department of State. She and her husband Michael has two children, Joshua and Melinda, and two grandchildren, Daniel and Ciara Foley.
