The Jeweled Web: Stories of Delusions and Desires

Javaid Qazi was born in Sahiwal, Pakistan in 1947. He went to the United States in 1968 to study English Literature. In 1978 he obtained a Ph.D. in English Literature. In 1998 Oxford University Press published a collection of his short stories entitled ＂Unlikely Stories.＂ In 2011, Niyogi Books published his novel entitled ＂Well Met in Cyprus.＂ His stories have been published in Kansas Quarterly, Sequoia, Toronto South Asian Review, Massachusetts Review, Heist Magazine, Drumvoices and the Anais Nin International Journal. He lives in San Jose, California with his wife.
