Lapbooking Across Our Wonderful World

Dee and I fell into lapbooking a few years ago, almost by accident. We had both stayed away from lapbooks because they seemed too complicated and time consuming. But we quickly figured out they didn’t have to be. In fact, lapbooking is so great because there are no hard, set rules! It is really whatever works for you and your students! We’ve used lapbooking in many classes we’ve done - giving the kids all the same materials to work with, and had them each come up with a different end product! Catherine and Deirdre were content to just enjoy lapbooking with their own children and students until they discovered that others were avoiding it for the same reasons they had been. Since that time they have put together dozens of lapbooks to use with their own students and for other educators looking for hands-on educational tools.
