So Close to Dying

Edward Mowry, a small animal veterinarian, a former high school teacher, and a former Marine Corps helicopter pilot, lives and works in Southern California. He has been a practicing veterinarian since 1979, married for forty-one years to the same wonderful woman, and is fortunate enough to be only a stone’s throw from his two daughters and their husbands. He is still searching for the Holy Grail of a balanced life, and he can be found in winter on the slopes of Mammoth Mountain or in his RV, reading those tomes he should have perused long ago and writing his next story, entitled, Don’t Tell Me I Can’t.
