This collection of poems and songs spans many moons from the earlier summer of my life to the more recent autumn season. The themes are summed up in the subtitle Love. Nature. Song. I am an artist bohemian type that has personally witnessed and experienced the gentrification in my NYC neighborhood - the East Village. I have lived here for more than half my life now. I write about how I feel about New York City, before and after all the changes in several of the poems/songs in this collection. I write mostly about Love as in the soul-mate kind and nature - both the beauty of God's creation and the complexity of 'human' nature. Most of my poetry is from a Romantic perspective and I have no problem being labeled as such.
