Dan Heller is currently a software engineer at Uber, having led prestigious projects such as Uber Eats and Uber’s Marketplace systems. Previously at Apple and Microsoft, he was one of the lead engineers on the port of iOS to the ARM64 architecture as well, and has a background in kernel engineering and scalable backend systems. Through his career, he’s managed up to 25 engineers and interviewed hundreds more and hopes to bring his background and knowledge to this book.
This book is based on a Medium blog post the author did called Ten Principles for Growth as an Engineer, that received 6,000 likes, and was later featured on Software Lead Weekly.
