Shadow of the Past: A Cody / McIntire Mystery

While Inspectors Cody and McIntire are investigating a scene of assault, which ends with the assualter taking his own life. Cody is relayed a cryptic message from the deceased man’s victim. Shortly into their questioning, Cody is called away to the hospital.Following the birth of young Henry, the Codys’ and McIntires’ return to the Codys’ flat to find a black-wrapped box waiting on their doorstep. On seeing the mysterious package Cody knows Nelius’ prophecy is at hand. The inspector’s biggest and darkest secret is threatening to destroy all he holds dear. He knows he’ll have to face the shadow of his past. But in doing so will he damn his own soul?
