It also summarizes personal protective measures that one should embrace to prevent attack and disease risk, and it briefly addresses treatments where applicable. While there are other books on the market that address arthropods (insects, spiders, and their kin) from a health perspective, this is the first work to address all of the dangerous invertebrates in a collective sense and on a global scale.
