Let Your Light Shine

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.

A little girl and her two siblings are raised by their grandmother, which is court-ordered after years of abuse and neglect from her parents. She grows up, moves away from home, and falls in love with a very special man who captures her heart. She gets married and has her own family, still carrying a secret in her heart that has affected her all her life.

Only years later, after her grandmother passes away, does she finally find the courage to investigate the truth of this devastating secret.

In the process of this journey, she comes to realize just how much she needs Jesus in her life, emotionally and spiritually. She cries out to God in the midst of her grief and sorrow to make Himself real to her so she can experience God’s love, grace, and forgiveness… and His power.
