Elements of Deception

Mary Schaffer was born and raised in northwest Arkansas where she received degrees in English from Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas. After finishing her career in teaching, she turned to her first loves: travel and writing. She has published two murder mysteries, Chance Encounter and Death in the Home Place. She has also written a romance and a number of essays.
