Beauty Parlor: The Adventures of Ferdamay & Annabell

Melody Black Thorp is author and illustrator for the Sweetwater Children’s Series. She was born in Louisville, KY at the end of WWII. She has three children and Grandchildren. She retired from book selling for over 30 years and is now living in her childhood home in Homestead, Florida. The collection of children’s stories taken from real life experiences of the author and others is a labor of love. She is always looking for true American Children’s stories to write and is working on Indian Underwear, Sweetwater Children’s Series Idaho.
