As Susan reflected back on her years with her beloved horse, Race, she thought of all of the wonderful horses she'd had in her life. As waves of emotions and memories started to flood in, she remembered how special each one of them had been to her. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Susan’s memoir of loss and love comes from her life-long journey with horses. Her trials and adventures will touch the hearts of all who have experienced an extraordinary relationship with a special horse. She has been blessed throughout her life with many wonderful horses, and though she lost her precious horse, Race, her journey continues. She and her husband live on a little six acre slice of heaven in Idaho with their horses, Bonus and Baile, dogs, Annie and Twix and cat Kitkat.
