No Longer Hidden, No Longer Ashamed is the gripping tale of a survivor of childhood trauma. Lisa Stefanski was sexually abused as a child. She learned to keep her pain hidden inside. She takes you on her journey and allows the reader to see the darkness she faced as she struggled to come to terms with being abused. During her journey, she became addicted to crack and broke all of her morals to fill her habit. As she struggled to keep the pain bottled up - she had a psychotic break. She was admitted to several mental health facilities and received treatment from multiple doctors and counselors. When she finally had enough she attempted to take her own life. When that didn’t work - she tried again. No Longer Hidden, No Longer Ashamed is her story about finding the courage to face the darkness of Childhood Sexual Abuse. It is a story about overcoming and survival.
