Caco Porto is a screenwriter and upcoming author. He graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro as a Systems Analyst and earned an MBA in Strategic Marketing from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. As a Systems Analyst, he developed information systems for Central Globo de Produções (CGP), owned by Brazilian network Globo, and used for the TV station’s teleplay productions. The Two Sides of the Pumpkin is his first literary work and it was adapted from the motion picture screenplay he wrote while attending a Screenwriting Program offered by PUC Extension, whose certificate he earned in 2002. The following year he received a certificate in Movie Script through the program offered at Darcy Ribeiro Movie School, also in Rio de Janeiro, where he has been developing new projects for movies, television, and literature.
