Carley Eason Evans earned her Master of Science degree in Speech Language and Auditory Pathology from East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina in 1993; and her Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Writing from Denison University, Granville, Ohio in 1976. Carley lives in the greater Charleston area, and has two grown children. When not writing, she works as an acute care Speech Language Pathologist at the Medical University of South Carolina. Carley has published poems and short stories in a variety of small literary magazines.
