The Jive 95: An Oral History of America’s Greatest Underground Rock Radio Station, KSAN San Francisco is an oral history of America’s first hippie underground FM on the dial that broadcast the countercultural consciousness of the ’60s and ’70s to a new generation.

Hank Rosenfeld is the author of The Wicked Wit of the West and The Life and Riley. His writing has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, The Village Voice, and more. He wrote and produced voice comedy for rock and roll radio shows at KSAN and K-ROCK. He was a staff writer at Spy Magazine from 1987-92 and wrote and produced comedy segments for Public TV KTCA in Minnesota. He lives in Santa Monica, California.
