Liza Frenette is an award-winning author and journalist. She’s also a mom of one daughter, Jasmine, and she comes from a family of nine children who all grew up in Tupper Lake, NY in the Adirondack Mountains. Later, she went to college, where she earned a journalism degree from the State University of New York at Morrisville. She went on to write and take photographs for different newspapers throughout northern New York, and has also written for magazines, including Reader’s Digest, Adirondack Life Magazine, Hudson Valley Magazine and Yankee Homes. Every summer, Liza works as a faculty member at the New York State Young Writer’s Institute at Skidmore College, which is part of the New York State Writers Institute. She is a member of the Adirondack Center for Writing and the author of Soft Shoulders, Dangerous Falls Ahead, and Dead End.
