My Story: Lost in a Family of Seven: A young boy’s journey in a family of alcoholism, abuse, neglect and mental illness...and surviving.

Born in 1957 in central Massachussetts, I am a first time author who has a desire to help people who may have been subjected to a home life that was similar to mine. There are millions of people across the world who need to know that they don’t have to follow the footsteps of their parent or parents. They can win, have victory and be productive people in our society. In 1981, on an August Tuesday evening in Townsend, Ma. I called on Jesus to forgive me of my sins and save my soul. I was forgiven, born again that instant and my life never has been the same. I was destined for an early grave and a wasted life until that night I called on Him. In 2013, I have restored fellowship with my sisters, hold a District Managers position with the Kroger Corporation and have been married to Becky, my wife, for 30 years. We have two children, Shane and Benjamin, both grown now and living productive lives. We also have three grandchildren as well. God is good and the message of this book is that He will pull you out of the dark pit of alcohol and drug addiction and plant your feet on the solid rock if you will just call on Him. You don’t have to live a defeated life. There is victory in Him! Mitch and Becky currently live in the south and have for the past eight years.
