At the age of 40, Pesach Steinberg went to Jerusalem with his wife Rochelle and 4 children to explore a side of their lives that had not been nourished. Raised mostly secular, in academic and business environments, God’s mystical and spiritual words were not in the normal Steinberg nomenclature. Thus keeping up with new words, phrases, concepts, themes and realities was a monumental if not seemingly unassailable barrier. Whilst sitting in the Jerusalem study halls, the best Pesach could achieve was to quickly capture seemingly meaningful words. Over time these words and phrases slowly took shape and form and understanding, leading to growth in knowledge. Perhaps one day wisdom. Today, Reb Pesach is working in the world of kosher food, involved in scholarly pursuits of the highest Halachic {Jewish law} nature, and finalising his Rabbinical studies. And it started with trying to grasp the seemingly incomprehensible - clutching at... God’s Words.
