Teacher, inventor, and science enthusiast, Gina Bundy has been encouraging green thinking for decades. A graduate of environmental policy from University of Virginia, she worked with government agencies to address such issues as ocean dumping, plastic pollution and coastal management. She later taught middle school science and encouraged hands-on science concepts in the teaching profession. Her first invention, the clear lockable WormWatcher, has been sold to hundreds of educators and green enthusiasts from coast to coast. Drawing on all these talents, Gina Bundy brings a unique perspective to the Earth Day message and sustainable thinking. In Digging Deeper, pictures do more than tell stories; they teach science and green practices.
