Marta Arroyo is a retired elementary school teacher and author of the bilingual children’s books La Fiesta y el Mariachi (2007) and The Story of Señora Tamales(2010). She and her husband live in Oceanside, California. Her children and grandchildren live in Carlsbad and San Marcos, California.
