A Clear Range of Vision

Lacey Holmes is on a mission to reclaim her life. Two things stand in her way: disturbed ex-husband, Ben, who has his own plans for her future, and the unsettling memories she carries with her. When a friend offers the use of an isolated cottage on the coast of Maine, Lacey escapes to a place where she has no past, only an anonymous present. But well-meaning neighbours - particularly Graydon Scott whose home shares her secluded cove - interfere with the solitary predictable life she is trying to achieve. Lacey has to make a decision. Will she remain anchored to the past, or shake free and navigate her own course to the future?

Sharyn Heagle was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Following careers in the public and private sectors, she earned a Masters of English degree from the University of New Hampshire. She taught English as a Second Language to foreign students while living in New England, and at Shoin Women’s University in Kobe, Japan. Sharyn Heagle writes from her home on sixty acres of land outside Ottawa.
