This is a story of a puppy that has traits of his ancestors and a heart full of love for those around him. Discussions of his ancestors are included as introductory background and nap time dreams. His nap time dreams allow him to transcend time and space.

The author Vernon Lee Finney graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1957. He attended Iowa State University from 1957 to 1959 and graduated with a B.S. from Florida State University in 1962. He received his M.S. from FSU in 1967. He conducted deep sea research aboard the USNS Eltanin in Drake’s Passage Antarctica in 1962. He has given technical presentations in Warsaw, Poland; Venice, Italy; Athens, Greece; Bangkok, Thailand.
