Matthew Zisi is a seventeen-year old homeschooler who lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, he has always been interested in writing and had his first book, The Hall of Fame Mystery, or the Cooperstown Bank Robbery published at the age of sixteen. Matthew is also an accomplished musician, having played the piano for thirteen years. He once won a Virginia state competition on piano. His top five favorite composers (in order) are Frederic Chopin, Franz Liszt, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Richard Wagner. In addition to playing piano, he composes music and plays the viola. He is a proud member of Bethel Reformed Presbyterian Church, Fredericksburg Area Young Musicians (FAYM), and the Rappahannock Pops Orchestra. He enjoys sports, rooting for the Baltimore Orioles (MLB), the Baltimore Ravens (NFL), the Washington Capitals (NHL), and Kyle Busch (NASCAR), as well as some other teams.
