Tammy Teigland was born and raised in Southeastern, WI. Her high school years were spent working, however she always found time to hang out with the guys and their muscle cars. Cruising on Friday and Saturday nights all summer long or hanging out at the race track. Both her father and brother build and show cars, so she is very comfortable in that world. Tammy lived in the town of Burlington, WI, and settled into a 100-year-old farm house, which sparked the ideas for her fist book. The house had become a character in itself. All the craziness and strange mishaps stayed with her. This would prove to be a big part of her writing the first novel, A Stranger in the Night. Tammy, now lives in Northeastern, IL with her husband, two teenage daughters, three large, crazy Black Labs, and two entitled black cats.
