Ann Dunning is the co-founder of Vamigas, a clean, Latinas-created beauty and wellness brand focused on formulas with natural botanical ingredients from Latin America. Ann immigrated to the United States at 9 years old, not knowing the language, yet graduated from UCLA and USC and created an impressive 20 year career leading PR & digital PR agencies in helping the hottest Silicon Valley startups. It was there where, while going through IVF, she discovered that Latinas face a disproportionate exposure to harmful chemicals in beauty products. She realized the missing puzzle piece was going back to plant-based basics and more simple beauty rituals, just as her own Latin American ancestors lived. She’s a member of Pipeline Angels, a member of Latinas in Tech, was a recipient of Verizon’s Latino Entrepreneur Awards, and was part of Startup Chile’s first cohort (a Chilean government program creating a new startup ecosystem in the country). She also co-founded and is COO of BLX ventures, where she’s helped syndicate hundreds of thousands of investment dollars for women-led ventures and has invested in women-led. She lives in beautiful California wine country with her familia, dabbles in herbalism and went through the School of Natural Skincare.

Christina Kelmon, co-founder and CEO of Vamigas and third generation Mexican-American from the San Francisco Bay Area, shot up through the ranks in the finance industry and venture capital space before she realized that hard charging hustle culture wasn’t for her. She’s an Inc. Magazine’s Female Founders 200 winner, a Forbes100 recipient, featured in People en Español, Forbes, Univision, and more, and advises women owned CPG brands. She is also a founding partner is BLX, a syndicate funding BIPOC founders. She began her career working for Congresswoman Barbara Lee, and shortly after joined an investment bank in San Francisco. She lives in the Bay Area with her daughter and husband where she runs her beauty brand between school drop offs. She is also a trained Reiki Master.
