Author and illustrator, Elsa Furia, devoted six months of research, studying recognizable views of each of the parks and learning about the unique, fascinating, and abundant plants and animals found within.

Elsa Furia is a freelance fine artist specializing in acrylic paintings and pen and ink drawings. She studied fine art under a private teacher in high school, graduated with a B.A. in interior design in 2014, and began a small business taking fine art commissions in 2017. She has won several awards at local art fairs in both Toledo and Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2019, she illustrated and self-published a children’s short story.
