Aaron Powers was born and raised in central Nebraska. He attended Wayne State College, where he received his degree in English, with emphases on Writing and Literature. He previously worked as a design and editorial consultant for a policy institute in Boston and as a correspondent and staff writer for an arts and entertainment magazine in New Bedford, MA.
