Leland Stewart's first novel, "An Irish Love Affair...A Second Chance at Love" takes the reader on an eventful and surprising journey to the Republic of Ireland in the company of Dallas businessman, Francis Harte. Facing corporate burnout, Harte, fled the U.S. to stave off a physical breakdown, choosing a quaint hunting lodge in a remote corner of Connemara, Ireland. With no distractions - alone with a supply of favorite books and plenty of good food and drink, he planned 10 days of total rest and relaxation. With no expectation of the serendipitous events that would follow, Harte and his future life would change in the most surprising of ways. Leland Stewart was educated at the U.S. Naval Academy and the University of Texas in Austin. Following a career with The New York Times and Better Homes & Gardens, he worked in design and construction in various U.S. cities. Today he lives and writes in the Dallas area.
