Karen Rempel Arthur began writing at about 10 years of age. Her work place of choice was in the garden shed using her grandfather’s old typewriter to get it down on paper. Thankfully these early efforts have been lost in time! Life intervened, but through her working career, she continued dabbling in this pastime. She’s been a newspaper columnist and written numerous children’s and adult short stories for magazines and online. To the delight of a whole township, Karen co-authored ’The True Story of Wainfleet with Lies by William Thomas, ’ and more recently wrote the well-received biography, ’The Tenacious Spy: The Story of William Morris Jones, ’ a tale of a remarkable man’s experiences in two World Wars. For sheer amusement, she writes the Flora BeGora mystery series.
