This is the first book of many epic sagas in the Domino series. 
    Since she was a young girl, all Alice wanted to do  was  work in space. After a failed relationship on the Moon, she packs up her cat and catches the next ship to the red planet. On Mars, she meets a new love interest but wants to take it slow based on her past relationships. Little did Alice realize, she would become the social link between the aliens and humans. 
While we are settling on our Moon and Mars during the 25th century,  another world of people are beginning to save theirs and are heading for us. What will happen when these two species meet? Earth now has the capability to destroy unwanted asteroids and the aliens are aware of this. Do they want to risk a war and deplete their valuable resources in the process of settling in our solar system or do they want to be friends? Humans and aliens approach each other with caution to create a common meeting location as they discover their social differences and capabilities. As this drama unfolds, the lives and fears on both sides begin to surface.  Mars can be a dangerous place where murder and accidents can occur.
