He met his wife of 46 years in Alaska and they settled in Massachusetts and raised their two children mostly in Virginia. He became a small business owner, earned a M. Ed. and taught college business courses and eventually retired. They share their time between Florida and Virginia where their children and grandchildren live. His writing career blossomed in Florida through writers’ associations.
