Nyka the author was born and raise in Miami. She found her love of writing while experiencing lifes heartaches. She is a former servicemember of the United States Navy and currently writes to enlighted others. She lives in Miami, FL with her partner. L.O.E. the books co-author was born in Miami. She has toured the south as a recording and spoken word artist.
