Texas Rivers and Creeks: Winter Time - Speckled Trout and Red Fish

I, Toby Hogan have been fishing on the Texas coast for 60 years. My first fishing trip was sometime in the 1950’s. My Uncle Julius Hogan took my dad, my brother Jim and I to Placedo Creek near Port Lavaca. That day I fell in love with the outdoors, boats and catching fish. In the 1960’s, I served in the Navy in Vietnam. After returning home, I opened a Taxidermy Shop. In the 1970’s. my brother Charlie Hogan and I fished a lot on the coast, rivers, creeks and nearby lakes. In the 1980’s, I started making fishing lures. I originated the Hogie Lure Company and made lures out of hard plastic and soft plastic for salt water as well as fresh water fishing. In 2010, I decided to come up with a new line of fishing lures and with the help of my brother Jim Hogan, retired Navy Master Chief and Vietnam Veteran and his dear wife Takako, we are making lures for Sale on-line ONLY.
