An overactive imagination, or as some would call it, consistent daydreaming, and my Physician’s Wife, led me down the path that introduced me to writing. For me, writing has become another form of creativity that allows me to pull imaginative ideas from my mind and apply them to the paper in front of me. It is truly a form of Artistry. My life has always been about creativity and imagination. For many years I put those qualities to the test by Crocheting, Sewing, Quilting, Decorative Floral Designs, and eventually turned to Decorative Painting and Custom Designs. I fabricated everything from miniature wood pieces to full blown, hand painted and finished furniture, developed my own party plan, ran a small craft shop and sold my work through an established store site owned by the infamous Country Sampler. Life was good! My husband since 1979, decided to purchase a small business that required a secretary. I went to school to become certified in Quickbooks Pro, and ended up working many years in Bookkeeping and Finance while my Decorative Artistry became a hobby. Due to the onset of an illness, I left the workforce and found myself without the ability to return to my Decorative Artistry. I became hungry for something to fill my time and a way to use my God-given creative abilities and decided to follow the encouragement of my Physician’s Wife, several friends, and my family to try my hand at writing. I am forever thankful for their encouragement and support. Today I reside in Portage County, Ohio on a small hobby farm with my Husband, our small herd of cattle and one housecat; my Rag Doll Socrates. He loves to help me write and is forever adding extra characters to my work. My Son and Daughter are both grown, responsible adults that I couldn’t be more proud of if I tried and I am also blessed from my Daughter and Son-n-law with two beautiful grandchildren that have their Grandma wrapped around their little fingers; Isabella Alida turned six in December, 2013 and Liam Edward was just born at the end of January, 2014.
