Doreen Linda Funk was raised in Boggy Creek, Manitoba. As she was growing up in this remote area, she soon realized that books could take her on many far away adventures! As an Early Childhood Educator in British Columbia, she strives to bring to life each child’s imagination and loves to see the sparkle in their eyes when they first believe that the impossible can really happen.
