Lucia Kuhl is a pen name created from and in honor of the combined names of the author’s grandmothers. The author lives in Indiana and splits her time between writing and teaching ballroom dance. Her Moon Lake Mysteries are supernatural cozy mysteries featuring witches, ghosts, spirits, and sharp shooting women sleuths who solve problems and take down criminals. Each mystery includes a twist of genealogy and horses. The series is set in the fictional village of Moon Lake, Indiana near the very real city of South Bend. She is addicted to old TV Westerns. Loves and has been owned by cats, dogs, horses and wants an alpaca, a pot belly pig, and a pygmy goat. She enjoys writing, reading, ballroom dancing, photography, gardening, ghost stories, and genealogy. Her ancestors include a long line of military soldiers including a few from the American Revolutionary War, an accused German Witch, and a Michigan Politician.
