That’s Why They Call It Fishing

The author was born in Rockland, Maine in 1938. Maine has been his home for all 76 years. He was born into a family of hunters and fishermen who took pride in their skills and shared that knowledge with their children. He was also very fortunate to have grown up during the nineteen forties, fifties, and sixties. He explains: ＂I experienced many wonderful and memorable times while fishing in Maine’s beautiful lakes, when fishing areas were less populated. I believe one of the reasons I was born, was to go fishing. Starting from early childhood and throughout my adult life, fishing has always brought a smile to my face. In this book, I have tried to share with the reader the many pleasures that took place on some of those fishing trips.＂
